Because my last eljay post was mostly about eljay. Summation being I did pay for another year on there so I better use it. Now with people migrating from Tumblr to here I am thinking it might be worthwhile to put some money in on this side as well.

Doing some catch-up reading here tonight and still pondering what kind of stuff to write. Twitter is much easier because it is made for short bursts.

I used to have a paid LJ account but since I've been here on DW I haven't done that. Haven't paid for DW yet either. I'm wondering if it's worth it on this site or not?

I've been trying to get back into my former LJ groove here.
Having been so immersed in short-attention-span media (FB, Twitter, Tumblr) it feels weird posting here now.

But I like it. I like having to actually reply to someone because you can't just "like" a post.
I like that it encourages winding thoughts and emotional babbling.

I'm hoping to see more active communities here again.
