I'm still lacking on reading here but it just needs to become a habit again.

What is it about January 1 that makes it so easy even to start making a change? I woke up today feeling revitalized. Break this year was also nice, as I didn't travel anywhere so I could just be at home and have several days of rest. This year it was indeed a recharge. Now I need to figure out how to approach this year.

Events of note for 2018:
*Got on the right dose of thyroid medication so I can function again
*Made wonderful new friends
*Left behind a 20+ year friendship because too much work with too much bullshit in exchange isn't worth it.
*Made a few more steps toward making this house truly *mine*.
*Gained a housemate.

And most of all, I may be starting to get sight of what my life is going to look like now with better health on multiple fronts.

Next up, tweaking the reading lists, which means I would be glad to have recommendations of people to follow.

I'm glad that you got your medication sorted out. That alone is a huge relief. My daughter had Lyme, so I understand the frustrations of trying to figure health issues out. Here's to a healthy 2019 for us all.

So, you're the boss of you and you get to decide how you think about things, but it's a topic close to my heart, because I do a lot of "X thing needs to happen" and then I don't do X and then it doesn't become a thing, and then vicious cycle ensues. You get on here regularly, even if you're regularly is sporadic. Maybe that's okay? Or, maybe schedule in a reading time once a month or something, if it's not okay? Or, be the boss of you and ignore my unsolicited suggestions. :) It's all good.

YAY for thyroid medicine (and TY for the reminder to call my dr and schedule my annual labs)
YAY new friends!
Condolescense on the ending of a friendship. I did that, last year too, and it's still sad, but also I wouldn't change anything and it's been better/easier for me since, so it's been good.
SUPERYAY to house stuff! How are the critters with the gained housemate? I mean, I would think more scritches is good, but admittedly, I'm not a cat.
