Thank you for coming, 2019
I'm still lacking on reading here but it just needs to become a habit again.
What is it about January 1 that makes it so easy even to start making a change? I woke up today feeling revitalized. Break this year was also nice, as I didn't travel anywhere so I could just be at home and have several days of rest. This year it was indeed a recharge. Now I need to figure out how to approach this year.
Events of note for 2018:
*Got on the right dose of thyroid medication so I can function again
*Made wonderful new friends
*Left behind a 20+ year friendship because too much work with too much bullshit in exchange isn't worth it.
*Made a few more steps toward making this house truly *mine*.
*Gained a housemate.
And most of all, I may be starting to get sight of what my life is going to look like now with better health on multiple fronts.
Next up, tweaking the reading lists, which means I would be glad to have recommendations of people to follow.

YAY for thyroid medicine (and TY for the reminder to call my dr and schedule my annual labs)
YAY new friends!
Condolescense on the ending of a friendship. I did that, last year too, and it's still sad, but also I wouldn't change anything and it's been better/easier for me since, so it's been good.
SUPERYAY to house stuff! How are the critters with the gained housemate? I mean, I would think more scritches is good, but admittedly, I'm not a cat.
